A recognized player in oleochemistry, LUMAR has been offering a range of vegetable oils (rapeseed, sunflower, soybean …) for many years to meet the needs of industrial customers seeking performance, environmental responsibility and long-term sustainability.
Description
Our sustainability strategy and CSR commitments led us to inaugurate ALISEOL®, a new vegetable oil production unit in 2024, located in the heart of the Beauce region, France’s main cereal-growing area, in order to produce vegetable oils as close as possible to the harvests. The oilseeds are sourced directly from local crops. Our production therefore meets two key objectives: improving competitiveness by avoiding unnecessary transport and better protecting the environment by reducing CO₂ emissions.
Derived from renewable resources, the vegetable oils supplied by LUMAR offer high biodegradability, excellent lubricating properties and broad compatibility with numerous industrial formulations. They are an ideal solution to reduce carbon footprint while maintaining a high level of performance, in line with a responsible innovation approach.
